If I Could Change Anything
08/19/2014

Although my kids are all in their 20's, I deeply regret not raising them. I outsourced their upbringing to caregivers as I was a widowed mom - Dad was deceased. I elected to stay in a high power, executive job to provide for my children. Private schools, private universities, privilege; that's what I provided for my children. What I regret is that I brought my PC to my kids' soccer games, I traveled most weeks, I never had enough time for my kids. If I could change anything, I would have settled for a lesser lifestyle and raised my children myself. I am fortunate I have a very strong relationship with my kids and although I was absent while they were growing up, we are very close now.
