Hidden Figures

Dear Dr. Laura,

Thank you for touting the lessons of the movie, "Hidden Figures". I loved it as much as you did, maybe more! I am a 67-year-old woman who graduated with a degree in Mathematics, in 1972. I thought I was hot shit, being one of only a handful of female math graduates. I thought I was so smart.

When I saw Hidden Figures, it put me in my place! I am certainly no Einstein! I was blown away by Katherine Johnson and her fellow female 'human computer' colleagues! This is a story for all times.

I love your advice, and I also love your movie recommendations. I keep a list! Please keep on doing your good work, including recommending movies.  My son lives in Santa Monica, and I visit a couple of times a year. Meeting you "one of these days" is on my bucket list!
