Not Your Typical Answer


Dear Dr. Laura:

I have an amusing story.  I worked in hospice for many years, and always asked our patients if they had any regrets about their lives.  We usually got the typical answers, but one day, I got a different response.

When I asked an elderly woman if she had any regrets in her life, she replied:"I really regret that I didn't sleep with that saxophone player back in the 40s.  He was so damned handsome!"  I couldn't quit laughing.....
