If You Can't Be An Example, You Can Be A Warning

My mom used to call me stupid. I've struggled for a long time to believe I'm not stupid. At 55-years-old I continue to question how stupid I am on occasion. With every struggle and every obstacle I faced, I was put down negatively. This continued until I left and had my own family.

The benefit of this is that I've been able to apply the opposite to raising my own children. I encourage them and support them, as I should. I am very careful choosing the words I speak to them. As for my mom, it's like they say: "If you can't be an example, you can serve as a warning.

Thank you for all you do to help us slay our dragons and raise our children better than we were raised.

Happy Thanksgiving
