December 15, 2016Learning Lessons
I was so glad to hear you say that you don't like to hear, "I'm sorry for your loss." The loss means you had something wonderful for all of the years before. I learned this lesson once when I was working for a very observant man.
His beloved uncle and mentor died on his 90th birthday. Almost without exception, the reactions he got when he told people of his loss was, "What a blessing!". They definitely had a "glass half full" approach to it. I've never forgotten that.
Thanks for all you do.
