It's About the Covenant

Hi Dr Laura,

I was talking to my brother the other day. He was telling me about a conversation he had with a friend. His friend was contemplating if he wanted to stay married. (If there wasn't addiction, abuse or affairs), my brother told him that what he wanted didn't matter. The friend asked what he was talking about. My brother asked him if he made a covenant. And if so, then what he wants or thinks doesn't matter, he needed to honor his covenant!!

I'm so proud of my brother. He did not learn this from our parents. He learned this the hard way, through trying to make a good life.

Thank you for all you do,

Love,

Lisa

P. S. I've got a broken shoulder on the right, torn muscles and broken collar bone on the left, but I can do push-ups with my feet on the floor and my hands on a desk top. Hey, it is better than whining "I can't".
