Then yesterday, I heard you talking to a caller about the same topic of being your husband’s "girlfriend.” My female stubbornness kicked in quite hard. Yes, I can be that women who thinks, “Why isn't he paying attention to me? And why am I always the one who has to try?” But I settled down and continued to listen.
I put your advice into action yesterday evening, and I forgot how easy it was to please my husband. I greeted him back home with a kiss, some delicious dinner, and we watched baseball together. You advised your caller to wait 24 hours and “see what happens." It didn't take quite that long for me! I woke up this morning at 5:30, heard the word "girlfriend" and said yes to my husband’s advances. It’s been some time since he made the first move.
I’m proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks. Thank you for all the hard work you do. I will continue being my husband’s girlfriend because he DESERVES it.
