One important lesson I have learned is to speak truthfully and straight forward.
My Hubby loves to watch his sports programs. One early evening during a half time event I announced to him: “I’m having sex at 9:30 pm. I hope you will join me.” I smiled, left the room and didn’t wait for his response. Lo and behold he appeared bare naked at 9:30 pm standing in the bedroom door. I smiled so hard, my face hurt, and the rest is wonderful history.
I’ve learned to make decisions and ask questions based on facts and observations, not feelings and suppositions. I thank you for reminding women to stop thinking like a girl and taking everything personally.
