When my husband and I were first married, 50 years ago and college students we would meet for lunch on campus. He would often peel my orange or remove the sandwich crusts from the lunch we brought from home.
Fifty years later, I mistakenly bought seeded grapes to a picnic we had. When I said I would probably throw them out, he said nothing. However, when we sat down for lunch, I found that he had removed those tiny little seeds from a lovely bunch of grapes and arranged them on my plate!
That's a real man, that is very loved and appreciated.
