Learning How to Be a Good Wife
02/28/2013
Dear Dr. Laura,

I want to thank you for the influence you have had on my life. Recently, my husband pointed out a comment someone had made about wives who don't treat their husbands with respect. He said that I never try to finish his sentences for him when he is in a conversation with his friends. Also, I don't try to correct every little thing he says in front of other people. I told him that much of what I learned about how to be a good wife and treat him with respect came from listening to you during the first few years of our relationship as well as reading one of your books.

Thank you for teaching me how to be a good wife. I have never heard the type of good counseling that you do on this topic from any other place. You provide specific examples of what treating your husband with respect looks like. We will be married 13 years in May.

And I just became a follower on Twitter.

Sincerely,

Tonya
