The Impact Of Consistency
01/04/2016

I asked a friend who happened to be a juvenile delinquency officer, "what is the most important thing in raising a child?".  She answered, "consistency".

If a child is raised from an early age to learn what the parent says stands, they learn to respect authority. That will also hold true to adults. There are always those that will push the limits, but generally speaking it is a good tool. My son was an easy child, but I was very consistent with him. If I say something, I stuck to it. I am very happy to say he is a wonderful respectful young man.

Just had to compliment you on spreading the gospel of consistency in parenting!
