A Different Act of Chivalry
06/29/2012

Dear Dr. Laura,

We have been married for 29 years and I have never forgotten my love's acts of chivalry when I was pregnant with our second child. I was ordered to bed because of hyperemesis (can't stop throwing up). Night or day, my knight would rush ahead of me to the toilet to wipe it down before I got there! I was hyper-sensitive to odors and since I was already throwing up, he didn't want me to have to inhale any toilet smells.

While other wives brag about their men opening doors for them, I just smile and hold in my heart what my man did for me. It's hard to top!

Blessed with Will (my husband's name).
