A Girl's Worth
10/31/2011

Here's a Facebook post a friend of mine shared and I immediately had to re-post it. It's actually written in a cute tree shape poem, green at the top and brown at the trunk. I'm turning this into a giant poster and hanging it in my daughter's room. She's only 3 now, but she sure is worth the world. I'm hoping she'll grow up knowing her worth and wait for that special boy that knows it too! Enjoy!

"Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree."
