I could totally relate to the call about the disrespectful boy throwing his homework at Dad. When I called my pastor about my husband being too hard on our 19 year old son, thinking the pastor would side with me, he had this to say:
"Kids these days are over-mothered and under-fathered."
I was totally convicted of my sins as 'over-mothering'. When I listen to your callers sometimes discuss their disrespectful kids, especially the teens and up, I will say out loud to you and repeat what my pastor said, 'They're over-mothered and under-fathered'.
