Hopefully your friends, family, and society won't stand by and watch you struggle; as they pat themselves on the back for not being in the hole themselves.
I am extremely lucky to have supportive friends and family. I do worry about our society's acceptance of greed and power as an excuse to not help the unfortunate.
Any of us could be in the hole and need help tomorrow!
