Thank You for the Recognition
11/06/2014

Hello Dr. Laura.

My friend is a dedicated listener of yours and on occasion, depending on the conversation, he would tell me how you talked about the single father. Due to the passing of their mother 14 years ago, my two little girls who were 5 and 7 at the time, had to be raised by me. I am a Marine Corps veteran who was luckily surrounded by good people and was allowed to adjust my work schedule around my children's needs. And with a good family on both sides we managed to survive. I now have both kids in college with the oldest a SENIOR. One down, one more to go!

So I want to thank you for recognizing the single father. It's nice when the plan all comes together. I could go on forever about my girls but I really just wanted to thank you for being you.
