I wanted an "adventure" - not a Mother's Day Brunch – and did I ever get one. Deryk took me on an almost four hour hike from 2600 up a mountain down to a river – all switch back. First half downhill…last half – you guessed it: torture!!! It was mentally challenging to face the amount of difficulty...however...I AM SO PROUD I MADE IT!! We then went out with Dad to lunch and ate up a storm. Then I went home, took a shower, got hot tea and fell asleep watching a movie on Apple TV. Great Mother's Day!!!
