Letting the Little Things Go I'm writing in response to the letter you just read about the 38 year old mother of 3 who just lost her husband to cancer. A SAHM Who Doesn't 'Just' Stay at Home Here is my "soap box" of the year! I felt like an outcast at my children's school. I did not work 50 hour weeks. Making a House a Home ...After my husband proposed to me, we began saving every extra penny each of us was making. By our first anniversary, we had saved up enough to purchase a modest size house, with mortgage payments we could afford, even if my husband lost his job and had to work for minimum wage. More >>

Day Cares Don't Care When it comes to the crucial age of being a new little person on the face of the earth, not even the best center-based day care can provide children with what they really need. Kids require one-on-one, loving care that responds to them individually. More >>
